On April 24, I was honored to visually capture two panels at the Advancing Awareness into Action Black Maternal Healthcare Summit, at Camden County College.
The first panel, on the benefits of making sure male partners were fully included the maternal healthcare process, featured many important points and moving stories, and the panel included several male doulas, which I didn’t even know existed. The second panel, on the importance of advocacy for this often underserved population, was equally enlightening and affecting, and overall I came away filled with respect for the participant’s passion and commitment to their work.
