Philly Tech Week wasn’t my first graphic recording job, but working there in 2017 really kicked off my career here in Philadelphia. The event, hosted annually by Technical.ly Media, Philadelphia’s premier technology news outlet, is always high in energy and enthusiasm, and the tech world movers and shakers that attend are a great audience for what I do. I received numerous inquiries after that first time, and every time I’ve worked there since.
So I was psyched to return this year, my first time in person since the pandemic. I captured two panels, both addressing the social impacts of technology, on May 9, the last day of the conference, at The Comcast Center in downtown Philadelphia. As always, it was both fun and informative, and I loved learning about all the exciting tech developments happening right here in my adopted hometown. A big thank you to Christopher Wink and the Technical.ly team for having me back, and to Carra Minkoff for the photos!
