In May, the Penn State College of Medicine asked Breakthrough Visuals to capture discussions and presentations at the AiHA Symposium. There, academics and researchers gathered at the Penn Medicine campus in Hershey, PA to discuss the implications of the rapid advances in artificial intelligence for the humanities and society in general.
The participants represented a variety of disciplines, from computer science to social work and the arts, and brought with them a very diverse range of perspectives. We were honored to participate in such important work, and, while the prospect of spending our old age being cared for by robots was somewhat unnerving, at least it appears live graphic recording will be done exclusively by humans for the time being.
