Last week, I had the honor of graphic recording a few sessions at the Empowering Nonprofits Conference, sponsored by Temple University. I started with the Opening Keynote by David W. Brown, an inspiring talk about the challenges facing nonprofits in this new environment and some actions needed to meet them. The second presentation, by Heather Maneval, went deeper into the dealing with the current spate of funding freezes.
It’s a particularly challenging time for organizations that are almost by definition out of step with the current administration, but I was impressed and inspired by the optimism and determination of both the speakers and the attendees, and I really appreciate Temple Director of Non-Credit and Continuing Education Kim Celano having me there!
